The Application Process

Please follow all the steps carefully to apply to be an RA.

RA Application Info Meeting (Optional) is on January 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the Newman Leadership Center- Classroom A.

1. Apply

Fill out the online application form through the button below. The application will include general info about you and some short answer questions. The application is due January 31 at 5:00 p.m.

If you are a current RA, please reach out to the RD for the returning RA application.

Also due on January 31 at 5:00 p.m. is your application to live at Newman Hall for the 2025-26 school year. You can apply here.

2. Get your references

Please send the links below to people who are willing to provide a personal and professional reference for you. The references should be from the past 2 years and are due by 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3rd.

Invitations to the first round of interviews will be sent February 6.

3. Interview

FIRST ROUND: If you’re invited to the first round of interviews, you’ll receive an email invitation on February 6 with a link to sign up. The first round of interviews will be February 11-20.

SECOND ROUND: Invitations for the second round of interviews will be sent on or before February 24. The second round of interviews is on RA Interview Day on Saturday, March 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mark your calendar!

RA Team results will be announced before UNO’s Spring Break on or before March 14.
