Words of Wisdom from our Seniors

With final exams being taken, graduation caps being worn, and final Spikeball matches being played, we say goodbye to an incredible group of seniors. Your leadership and faith have been an incredible blessing to our JPII Newman Community. We can’t wait to watch you thrive in this next chapter of your life.

As they begin on their new paths, some of our seniors shared a piece of advice to new students coming into the JPII Newman Community:

“Say, yes to the invitations you receive!”

“Hang up and hang out.”

“Take advantage of opportunities around you because this community is rare.”

“Be open to change and allow yourself to be changed.”

“Buckle up and be prepared to have your life and soul changed.”

“Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.”

“Put yourself out there!”

“Go for opportunities that put you outside of your comfort zone.”

“Invest in good friendship. Invest your time in good places.”

“Everyone is unique and different – share your faith!”

“Get involved and don’t let fear hold you back.”

“Be prepared for good times, bad times, and everything in between. Rely on your friends!”

“Be present where you are at and soak up the moment.”

“Have a goal of what you want to accomplish, but not a plan. Let the plan unfold.”

“Be bold, be courageous, and be not afraid.”

Thank you, Seniors!
