Meet Scott

Hello! I’m Scott and I have been involved at the JPII Newman Center for around two years now.

I chose to move into Newman Hall because I was intrigued to live in a place where my faith could grow. Here I have met other college students who are striving to be saints and who want to follow the will of God.

The friends I have found are like no other. They only want the best for me and to help me become a saint. By doing this, they encourage me to grow in faith and with my relationship with Christ every day. I know I can always talk to them about anything, and they will actually listen. It is great to be able to talk about school, life, and Jesus anytime and anywhere. Have had some amazing conversations late at night about faith and how to grow even more.

Another aspect at Newman that I truly appreciate is the community. The people that live here are more then friends; we are a family. I have definitely felt the sense of community here. There is already someone interested in your day or willing to pray for you if you want.

My time here has helped form me into the person God has called me to be. Currently, I am discerning the priesthood and I know I will continue to grow every day with Him.

So, come check out the Newman Center, it is the greatest place to be in college. A true home away from home and there is nowhere else I would rather be.
